There is nothing quite like watching a Leathersmith bring a piece to life right in front of you. A guest chooses a wallet, a keychain, or a belt, and a few minutes later it is theirs, marked with their initials and finished by hand. That moment is why we bring the bench to your event, and it is why we are updating how we structure our live event pricing.
What's changing
For local events, our Live Event Fee is now billed at $195 per hour, per ColsenKeane staff member.
Here is how the full Live On-Site Monogramming option looks:
Local events
- A minimum of $2,995 of your choice in ColsenKeane leather goods featuring your company's logo
- A $195 per hour, per staff member Live Event Fee
Non-local events
- A minimum of $4,000 of your choice in ColsenKeane leather goods featuring your company's logo
- A $1,995 Live Event Fee
Why we moved to an hourly bench fee
Every event is different. A two-hour client reception for 40 guests asks something very different of us than an all-day conference activation with a line out the door. An hourly fee lets you build the experience around what your event actually needs, instead of paying for a one-size-fits-all package.
It also keeps things transparent. You decide how many hours of live monogramming you want and we let you know how many Leathersmiths are needed at the bench, and the cost scales with those choices. More hands means shorter lines and more personal attention for your guests. A shorter window works well for a focused moment, like a welcome hour or a VIP gathering.
What your guests get
The fee covers the part of the experience people remember most. Our mobile workbench arrives at your doorstep, and our skilled Leathersmiths work in full view of your guests, personally monogramming their leather items or sizing and finishing their belts. It is an immersive look into the craft, and every piece that leaves the bench is one of a kind.
Your logo is part of it too. The leather goods you choose are embossed with your company's mark specifically for your event, so the gift in your guest's hand carries your brand long after the night ends.
A few ways to plan around it
- Match hours to your guest flow. If most guests arrive in a two-hour window, staff the bench for that window.
- Add a second leathersmith for larger groups. More staff at the bench means shorter waits and a smoother event.
- Start with your goods selection. Your $2,995 local minimum goes toward the leather goods themselves, so choosing the right pieces for your audience is a great first step.
